Brittany + Chase Engagement

I was excited to get to do an engagement shoot with Brittany + Chase in downtown Canton, MS. A few movies were filmed in the area like "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" and "A Time To Kill" (Random movie facts, yay). I love the look of the area especially around Christmas with all the shops looking all sparkly and festive. It did end up being a kind of rainy day and it was my first shoot where I ran into a rainy issue. Brittany + Chase were good sports and just ran from location to location with me while raindrops fell. Brittany of course stayed beautiful through it all. I'm a little jealous of how photogenic she is. Oh, and they also brought me a cute Christmas thank you present with a really pretty bow on it :0) so sweet~

Waiting for Baby Jace

I tend to find locations for my shoots where I might be slightly trespassing...but those seem to be the best ones. Ashley and Jason were troopers to follow me :0) This was my second time getting to photograph them...the first time was a tea party shoot. I was really excited that they asked me to take their maternity photos. I took a few photos of just Ashley in her house, and a few of them turned out to remind me of celebrity like maternity pictures you might find in a magazine...cause Ashley makes pregnancy look good. Also...on a random note...they taught me about Elf on the Shelf which is the cutest idea/game for kids before Christmas. Look it up its the cutest thing!  The little guy in the belly is named Jace and he should be here by early December...can't wait to meet him while taking pictures <3

Jennifer and Philip

Jennifer + Philip = a special love that will change the world for the better. I was lucky enough to get to photograph their day in Jackson, MS on October 29, 2011. Sometimes you meet a couple of people who are just special. Their uniqueness was shown through the little things that made their day different.

~They had a worship service to start off the ceremony...by the way who has a full legit band at their wedding...so awesome :0)
~They had a foot washing ceremony in the middle of their ceremony...showing selfless <3
...And Jennifer was one of the most calm, happy, and glowing brides I have ever had the opportunity to be around.

I felt incredibly blessed to be part of it all, and I know the future is only sparkling for these two special people<2

Big Big thanks to my amazing assistant for the day Mieke Moller :0)
