I have always wanted to do a couple photo shoot in Europe, especially the amazing unique city of Copenhagen. The city is one of the bike capitals of the world, home of The Little Mermaid and royal family. I was so excited to get to photograph Trine and Brian in an environment full of fairytale like scenery and Danish culture. Trine & Brian are both Danish and met in Bulgaria around 4 years ago. They are always traveling and planning fun days and ways to spend their time together. Both of them are amazing & kind people willing to put up with me getting way too excited at times. I had so much fun walking around with them as they described to me their couple moments and the historical places of their city.
We met at a bus stop and grabbed some coffee at a unique non-profit coffee shop, where Trine & Brian visit regularly, and also where their red little couch sits. The first location was the beautiful famous Assistens Graveyard, where many famous Danes are buried. Hans Christian Anderson... the writer of fairy tales like The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling, The Princess and the Pea, etc... is buried there. Yes we shot in a graveyard. The 2nd location was the castle of Rosenborg where I might have caused a scene cause I got a little loudly happy. Finally we traveled to Christianshavn, where you can find colorful Danish styled buildings & a canal.
